Bird World (2012)
An immersive rotoscope animation about the unnaturalness of city life, the story follows SPARROW, a country bird as is he struck by a plane and lands wounded in a mysterious city, inhabited by anthropomorphised birds.
This animated short with its many colours and layers is a seductive Proustian experience about the creation of identity. A film for anyone who has ever lost him or herself. Bird World was initially shot on HD using live actors, who were then composited into our specially designed bird city and animated by hand. Official Selection
